Echeveria 'Chroma' is a beautiful and unique succulent that is sure to catch the eye. This shrubby plant forms attractive rosettes that exhibit seasonal variegation in various colors, including pink, apricot, gold, red rose, and near white. Its dark variegated leaves can take on hues of blue, purple, pink, orange, or even metallic brown, depending on the amount of light it receives. The rosettes grow up to 10 cm in diameter, while the plant itself can reach up to 15 cm tall, quickly branching to form a much-branched plant.

Echeveria 'Chroma' is an Altman Plants original hybrid of unknown parentage. It produces bell-shaped flowers that are yellow on the inside and orange to pinkish-red with yellow tips on the outside. These flowers appear on tall leafy stalks in spring, making for a lovely display. In addition to its visual appeal, this plant is generally non-toxic to people and pets, and its flowers can attract hummingbirds.

To care for Echeveria 'Chroma', you should provide it with typical watering needs for a succulent, using the “soak and dry” method and allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. It does well in full to partial sun and should be planted in an area of your garden that gets at least 6 hours of sunlight a day. If you live in a zone that gets colder than -1.1°C, it's best to plant this succulent in a container that can be brought indoors under a grow light, as it is not cold hardy.

Propagation of Echeveria 'Chroma' is easy and can be done by cuttings, leaves, and offsets. To grow from cuttings, use a sterile, sharp knife or pair of scissors to remove a stem from the main plant, and allow it to callous for several days before placing it on well-draining soil. To propagate from leaves, twist a leaf from the mother plant, ensuring that none of the leaf remains on the stem, and allow the leaf to dry out for several days so that the end callouses over before placing it on well-draining soil. For offsets, simply pull these up and allow them to dry for one to two days before replanting.

In conclusion, Echeveria 'Chroma' is a lovely and unique plant that is perfect for succulent arrangements, planters, and rock gardens. Its seasonal variegation and colorful flowers make it a standout addition to any garden.

Another Great Read
Format: Paperback
Yet another "Whodunit" book. No matter how many times I pick up a Freida McFadden book, rest assured it will be great. The books are easy to read; not too prolonged yet the endings are incredible. This book does not disappoint. Highly recommend!!

Great read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Format: Paperback
The Divorce by Frieda McFadden was everything I’ve come to expect from Frieda — addictive, suspenseful, fast-paced, and filled with shocking twists that completely caught me off guard. In true Frieda fashion, just when I thought I had the story figured out, she turned everything upside down. She has such a talent for making ordinary situations feel unsettling and keeping the reader questioning every character’s motives until the very end. What I loved most was how quickly this story pulled me in. The tension builds chapter by chapter, and the short, fast-moving chapters make it almost impossible to stop reading. Every reveal added another layer to the story, and I constantly changed my mind about who could be trusted. Frieda always knows how to create characters that are flawed, complicated, and just suspicious enough to keep you hooked. The emotional side of the story mixed perfectly with the thriller aspect. The themes of betrayal, secrets, marriage, and manipulation made the story feel intense and realistic while still delivering the dramatic twists her readers love. The ending was absolutely wild and left me sitting there replaying everything in my head afterward. Another fabulous read from Frieda McFadden. She truly has become one of my automatic-read authors because she never fails to entertain me. If you love psychological thrillers with nonstop tension, unreliable characters, and jaw-dropping endings, this one is definitely worth the read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A lot of fun and ridiculous twists and turns. But, unfortunately, this author still needs to hire a professional proofreader.

queen of Plot Twists.
Format: Kindle
Ngl, I didn’t like the way this one ended. I wonder if they’ll be a continuation or something like that. I need answers. This is the first book that I felt like I didn’t get closure from. lol. But it was a good book. And the plot twist came outta nowhere. I was reading and reading and reading and I’m like what the heck and then I was like OH DAMN! Then it just kept hitting lol. PART 2 FREIDA!!! I have questions still.

Addictive as almond M&M's
Format: Paperback
I once read a book that blew the whistle on the abuses in the system that produces young elite figure skaters and gymnasts. One mother said of another mother that she was very likeable, but she'd cut your throat behind your back. That describes a lot of Freida McFadden's heroines (and their besties) to a t. At least one of the following always occurs in these novels. 1. If someone says, "Eh, I'm sure it's nothing," it's not. If someone believes their husband is too busy working to have an affair, he isn't. If someone suspects a knife is missing from the block, it is. 2. If a child or teen bitterly complains of being a victim of peer conflict, there's a good chance he/she is the instigator. They may even have committed or assisted in a murder in the past. 3. At some point, you will be told point blank that the character you have just spent a good chunk of the book with is the polar opposite. And even if you're familiar with the books, it may come as at least a partial surprise since this doesn't occur in most novels. 4. Everyone in the book has a secret, even if it's just hair dye. 5. There's also what I call the "Cold Case" rule: Don't argue near stairs. Ever. But I digress. At first, happily married to a great guy Naomi Roth doesn't really protest when her husband Jeremy, after having changed the locks, insists that she go and stay at the apartment he bought for his now-deceased parents. She believes, despite a few stray doubts, that he is telling the truth when he says that it's just renovations and that it will be better this way - and he's even thoughtfully packed for her. However, soon after that, Naomi is told in no uncertain terms that Jeremy wants a divorce, which makes her a pariah with her fellow mothers, except one. Is her husband having an affair, and if so, what secrets does his mistress have? And who the heck committed the murder in the preface (there's almost one in every book, so it isn't much of a spoiler)? As always, the author makes writing fiction look effortless, which if you've actually sat down to write some, know it usually isn't. Another addictive read.
